Privacy policy
This policy explains data used by the site and analytics providers.
Data we receive
We receive basic server logs, aggregate analytics events and messages you email to us. Vehicle-selector and calculator events do not need your name or VIN. If you choose the VIN decoder, the browser sends the VIN directly to NHTSA vPIC for the requested decode; Zam Green does not store it or add it to the page URL.
Saved calculator plans
When you choose Save plan, your calculator inputs, vehicle notes, entered service history and any traveler names are stored locally in this browser. They are not uploaded as a saved plan or sent with calculator analytics. Clearing this site's browser storage removes saved plans. Copy result includes names and inputs in the text you choose to share.
Cookies
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar storage to measure visits and improve the site. You can reject analytics storage or withdraw consent from the footer.
EEA, UK and California rights
Where required, analytics storage must wait for consent. You may refuse or withdraw consent. California residents may request access, deletion or correction and may opt out of sale or sharing as those terms apply. We do not sell contact emails.
Contact and retention
Email the address on the contact page for a privacy request. We retain correction correspondence only as long as needed to verify the record and document the change.
